Recall and Discontinuation of All Batches of Gerber® Soothe N Chew® Teething Sticks
Port of Spain, April 29, 2025: The Ministry of Health (MoH), via its Chemistry, Food and Drugs
Division, advises the public of a recall and the discontinuation of all batches of Gerber®
Soothe 'n' Chew® Teething Sticks.
The recall issued by Gerber Products Company was due to a potential choking hazard for
babies and young children.
RECALLED PRODUCTS:
Gerber Snacks for Baby soothe ‘n’ chew Teething Sticks, Strawberry Apple, Net Wt 3.2
Oz (90g), with UPC 0 15000 04618 7, all lot codes.
Gerber Snacks for Baby soothe ‘n’ chew Teething Sticks, Banana, Net Wt 3.2 Oz (90g),
with UPC 0 15000 04608 8, all lot codes.
Gerber Snacks for Baby soothe ‘n’ chew Teething Sticks, Banana, Net Wt 1.58 Oz (45g),
with UPC 0 15000 01015 7, all lot codes.
Furthermore, the local distributer for Gerber products has confirmed that they have not imported
the recalled products into Trinidad and Tobago. The Ministry advises consumers who may be
in possession of the recalled product(s) to discontinue its use.
