The ERHA is responsible for the delivery of healthcare services in much of the Eastern half of Trinidad covering a vast area stretching from Matelot in the North, Guayaguayare in the South and Valencia in the East. Geographically, the ERHA is the largest of five (5) RHAs. Its area encompasses approximately 1/3 of Trinidad and serves a catchment population of about 157,000 persons.
