The Honourable Dr. Rishad Seecheran
Minister in the Ministry of Health
Dr. Rishad Seecheran is currently serving his second term as the Member of Parliament for Caroni East.
Professionally, Dr. Seecheran brings a unique blend of medical expertise, legal knowledge, and a strong track record of community engagement to the public service, as he is a qualified General Dental Surgeon for the last 20 years with postgraduate certification in Dental Implantology. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2005 and went on to pursue legal studies, receiving a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree in 2020. He is on track to complete his Legal Practice Certificate in August 2025.
